About
At Living Well Chiropractic Byron Bay, we’re focused on getting you well as quickly as possible using the latest, gentle chiropractic techniques. Practicing out of the clinic at Go Vita Byron Bay.
We help people from all walks of life; children, tradies, office workers, professionals and athletes just to name a few.
We provide gentle care for your whole family, from birth to the “golden” years of life.
Common conditions we have experience assisting with include back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines and sciatica. In addition, Principal Chiropractor Janine has additional training in Functional Neuro Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (FNOR) and is undertaking studies currently in the emerging field of functional neurology
The FNOR system is applied across a range of common orthopedic conditions beyond joint and spine pain, including movement dysfunction, gait abnormalities, musculoskeletal injury of various forms and even non-somatic conditions such as traumatic brain injury, including concussion and stroke.
Janine utilises gentle treatments using Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT), a chiropractic approach that has been used for more than 90 years to determine and treat spinal and cranial related issues and the Activator, which is a hand-held instrument that allows a chiropractor to achieve the same results as a so called “manual adjustment,” but in a gentle way.
Regardless of the final treatment approach, she will discuss all of your options fully with you before any care plan is started. Your treatment will always be adapted to your particular needs. How long you decide to benefit from chiropractic care is always up to you.

A personal Touch
After completing a science degree in the ‘90s, Janine worked in the food industry as a microbiologist and at the respected Walter and Eliza Hall Institute as a research assistant in the auto-immunity and transplantation department. Always interested in holistic approaches, she decided it was time to get back to nature as a way of healing moving to Sydney to complete her chiropractic studies. Her unique background and experience gives her a broad and informed view on the various approaches to health and wellness.
Janine loves the diversity that comes from working in a family practice
Janine and her partner David moved to the northern Rivers in 2020 having taken over ownership of GoVita Byron Bay and now can’t imagine living anyplace else.
She loves the sun, the ocean, learning new things, going out for dinner, live music and photography
